Mission Statement

One of planet Earth’s oldest beverages, beer dates back to the sixth century BC and is currently the world’s third most consumed beverage after water and tea.  Our modern American beer culture had been adversely affected for decades as smaller regional brewers closed their doors in favor of highly advertised mass marketed beer brands.  The American beer taste profile became predictable and boring.  Southwestern Beverage is dedicated to the responsible appreciation of the brewer’s art.  Many new beer consumers are flocking to our portfolio in appreciation of variety of full flavored styles of world class beers, ales and stouts.  Southwestern is dedicated to maintenance of the lowest cost world-wide supply chain and will make every attempt to deliver the best possible value to the consumer.

Pedigree

Southwestern Beverage commenced distribution of imported and domestic craft beers in late 1993.  As an affiliate of Southwestern Wine & Liquor Co, Inc. aka Southwestern Distributing, the firm uses hand-sell wine marketing strategies in development of its beer brands.  

Coverage Area

Southwestern Beverage currently services Memphis and West Tennessee on and off premise accounts. 

Facility

Southwestern Beverage shares a state of the art beverage distribution facility with sister company, Southwestern Distributing.  The 200,000 square foot space provides ample space for expansion of the craft beer portfolio as availability and capacity permit.  Unpasteurized beers are stored at 38 degree temperatures and are rotated methodically to guaranty freshness.
